Stangenjoch

Description:
Stangenjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3055 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.4 km north of peak Wollbachspitz - Punta di Valle near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. West from the saddle there is glacier Östliches Stillupkees, 0.7 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Grasleitenkees. The saddle is located above the valley Sundergrund.
