Description:
Rotkopf is 2819 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 8 km south-southeast from the center of Gmünd and 9 km south from the center of Gerlos. The nearest mountain hut is Klammer's Jausenhütte, located 6km north. A little further is Karlalm. 4 km east from the summit there is glacier Schönachkees, 5 km east from the summit there is also glacier Zillerkees. The peak is located above the valley Zillergrund.
