Description:
Hochegg is 1836 meter high peak located in the Dolomites mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km southeast from the center of Palmschoß - Plancios and 3 km southeast from the center of Kreuztal - Val Croce. The nearest mountain hut is Plosehütte - Rifugio Plose, located 4km north. A bit closer is Schäferhütte, which is located 2km to the southeast. South of the summit is the valley Villnößtal - Val di Funes.
