The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Antholz Obertal - Anterselva di Sopra and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Antholz Mittertal - Anterselva di Mezzo. The nearest mountain hut is Barmer Hütte, located 2km east-northeast. Furtalm is a bit further away. 5 km northeast of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 0.8 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Hochgall Ferner - Vedretta di Collalto, 1.6 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Antholzer Tal - Valle di Anterselva.
