Description:
Untermooskopf is 2214 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.5 km south-southeast of peak Obermooskopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 5km northwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 3 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Grasleitenkees, 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Frankbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Franco. The peak is located south of the valley Sundergrund.
