Description:
Trippachscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3182 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 3km southwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 0.6 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Tribbachkees - Vedretta Rio Torbo, 1.1 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Frankbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Franco. The saddle is located above the valley Floitengrund.
