Description:
Floitenjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 3027 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 2.0km southwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 0.6 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Floitenkees, 0.8 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Tribbachkees - Vedretta Rio Torbo. The saddle is located above the valley Floitengrund.
