Description:
Palec is 1612 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 3 km southwest of peak Mahavšček and west-southwest above the mountain pasture Planina Lašča. The nearest mountain hut is Gomiščkovo Zavetišče na Krnu, located 4km west-northwest. Closer is Lovski dom Na Vrtičih, which is located 1.6km to the northeast. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Dolina Lepene.
