Kaninski Vršič

Description:
Kaninski Vršič is 2518 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located on the border between the country of Slovenia and the country of Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Celso Gilberti, located 1.9km northeast. A little closer is bivouac Jamarski bivak, which is located 1.5km to the south-southeast. West-northwest from the summit there is glacier Ghiacciaio del Canin, 0.8 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Ghiacciaio orientale del Canin. East of the summit is the valley Krnica and a marked path leads to the top. The peak is located above Kaninski podi.
