Description:
Rigel is 770 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 3 km south of peak Rosenkogel / Hruški vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Rosenkogelhütte, located 4km north. A little further is bivouac Bivak Stebrasta skala. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Stresena dolina.
