Peščeni hrib is 402 meter high peak. The peak is located 0.9 km north-northeast from the center of Seč and 1.8 km southwest from the center of Pleš. The nearest mountain hut is Planinska koča pri Sv. Ani na Mali gori, located 9km west. A bit closer is Kocljevi, which is located 3km to the north. The peak is located northeast of the valley Ribniška dolina.
