Štablavec is 628 meter high peak. The peak is located 2 km east-northeast from the center of Zagorica and 3 km east-southeast from the center of Mala vas. The nearest mountain hut is Turistični dom na Grmadi, located 5km southwest. A little further is Lovska družina Struge na Dolenjskem. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Ribniška dolina.
