Becar, I have to comment on your outburst about the lack of showers in huts. I think no one is saying that people who want to shower in a hut are weird; it's mainly about people understanding that this "luxury" is not available in huts and accepting it. For consideration, I would emphasize that we all talk about keeping our mountains clean and pristine, on the other hand we would like to have all the comforts from the valley in huts (TV, showers, trash bins, drinking water, fresh linen...). But the negative impact on the environment is forgotten - and yes, wastewater is a BIG problem. Not to ramble, I recommend reading the below and similar articles. http://www.delo.si/novice/slovenija/malo-planinskih-koc-ima-cistilno-napravo.html

Viewpoint above Mozirje hut? In front of the viewpoint to the left is the take-off for paragliders.

I myself didn't go to Ojstrica via Kopinškova over the weekend but from Robanov kot, but I was on Krofička on Sunday, from where you can see the snowfield under Ojstrica summit is still quite large. I also talked to two who went exactly on Sunday via Kopinškova and confirmed it's recommended to have ice axe or at least poles with you.

On Saturday we stayed overnight at Klemenča Jama under Ojstrica. The hut is SUPER - rooms clean and homely, beds comfortable and wide, food tasty, keepers funny and very friendly. All praise from my side and keep it up. I really recommend!

Nice greeting to all from my side too. We also went on Saturday to Ojstrica from Robanov kot via Molička and Mala Ojstrica. Path relatively long but views wonderful. We left home late (morning chores) and there was quite some fog but I tell you it's worth it. Especially recommend to those annoyed by overcrowded paths, as we met no hiker until Molička peč (tourists to last Roban homestead excepted).

Well well, I also agree that the quality of food could be better somewhere, same with more affordable prices. But by no means do I accept that some expect hotels in the mountains (chambermaids, hot showers, WCs with sewage, trash cans...). We must realize that all wastewater in the mountains must be poured into the environment, thus consequently polluting nature. If a person manages a bit, he quickly finds a solution for such unimportant problems, which in truth arose only with our spoiling. I e.g. in case of overnight take some moist wipes with me, which nicely replace the shower, drinking water I always have in reserve, trash anyway must always be taken down to the valley, where you can sort them as you like
