Today we went to Pogačnik hut. Since it wasn't enough for two of us, we went to Pihavec. The path to Pihavec from Pogačnik hut up to scree is a bit poorly marked, don't worry too much (unless fog hits). In nice weather like today, the path (that we still need to hike) is well visible higher on scree. Currently some snow on path that can quickly sweep unwary hiker. I didn't have crampons or ice axe, and didn't have major issues, of course grip with hand useful on icy parts. Up to first protections snow rises, so climb very carefully to pegs. Wire rope at snow height so can't use it. Here snow ends too. Then ascent on pegs, bit of wire, then easy to summit. For descent be very careful!

Today from Kamniška Bistrica I spotted ibex below Skuta that were crossing the snowy scree field.
