He has also acquired special clothing to prevent sand from entering the body. The desert (Sahara) is covered by countries: Morocco, Western Sahara (claimed by Morocco), Mauritania and Senegal. It's 1,700 km of desert. On one of the pictures you can see the gate to the desert, which is in the city of Guelmim. From Oliver's videos it is evident that quite a few cyclists cross the desert. In this part of the world there is no water, no food every ten kilometers. We'll see how Oliver will manage in this desert. Probably cars, trucks and also cyclists drive on these roads. Pedestrians probably can't be there very often.

Millions of years ago, Slovenia was also in the area of today's Morocco, Turkey ... Oliver Tič has walked along the Path of Friendship to Lisbon. There he was welcomed by Lions club Lisbon. Some friends were waiting for him too.
