my great-grandfather was a passionate mountaineer. Vacations, summer and winter, according to the only information I have, he spent on a ''farm under Golica'' and perhaps in Martuljek. I have a whole album of photos, I don't know where they were taken. There are indeed narcissus fields on some photos.

If anyone recognizes objects or places in the photos, it would be great. I recognize Aljaž Tower, the hut on Bogatin and the Russian Chapel.

Bravo, it's really long in one piece. I prefer walking our hills in dry March and April, when leaves are processed and days longer. Those farmsteads under Mrzlica will sadly be empty soon.

Yesterday from in front of the mine in Topla via climbing path to Kordeževa glava. Also yesterday new highway quite icy. At start 6 degrees, warms up quickly with ascent, soon in summer gear. Then to Končnikov vrh and from Kneps back to Topla. This path getting overgrown, at one landslide missed and traversed too far east (maybe the mentioned hunting traverse above). Otherwise path trodden, but covered in larch needles, came out of forest on pasture, a bit above marked path. Met no one on the way, few of us at summit.

At what height did you photograph the blueberries? Are they fully ripe yet?

This route is nice because you can get to the starting point by bus (if you catch it in Celje or Žalec), sleep in Logarska and the next day back. The descent must be really tough, although the one to Logarska dolina is also very strenuous.

Nice. The ridge is an interesting peak, in May 2020 we saw a wild capercaillie and a three-toed woodpecker on it.

DVas returned from Planina Luža to Topla last year via pink-marked path. I'd like to do this loop and I'm interested in how traceable the path is and how long it takes.

Blueberries are already at around 600m altitude, say Hom above Celje or around Hramš and Galicija.

I suggest driving under Hlipovec, go to Travnik and the hut, then east on marked to Smrekovec and back the same way to the starting point. The path is easy and very pleasant, it will take 6-7 hours.
At the beginning of August you'll refresh yourself with blueberries all the way.
