75-minute amateur documentary film T(H)RIL(L)ER on Monday 15.04.2013 at 17:00 in Kosovel Hall, Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana opens 7th International Mountain Film Festival Domžale/Ljubljana. Film made spontaneously during Klemen Triler's record run on Slovenian Mountain Trail from Maribor to Ankaran August 2012 and shows that it is possible to reach goal despite blisters and injuries.

Last post: Klemen is less than an hour before Slavnik. He's in increasingly better spirits because he can already smell the sea We expect him in Ankaran between 6:30 and 7 pm.

Klemen started in Razdrto this morning. Due to painful blisters, he progressed more slowly at first. Now they are descending from Vremščica towards Škocjan Caves. Given the circumstances, we don't expect him in Ankaran before 6 pm. Depends on what detour will be needed. Yesterday despite pains he made it to Razdrto, although the original plan was Nanos.

So: all mountain running enthusiasts, hikers, friends, and others too - see you in Ankaran to properly welcome Klemen at the finish!

Klemen has exceeded today's plan. Currently resting in Razdrtem.
Tomorrow is the last day. Unpleasant because of fires, as the area where SPP goes is closed.
In Ankaran they expect him between 7 and 10 pm, depending on how much longer or harder (=asphalt) the trail is because of fires.

According to latest info, Klemen is expected at Javornik. Today David Kadunc has been accompanying him all day.

Interesting, in Gorenjska there were no fans anywhere along the trail, in Primorska though .... there's no spot where they wouldn't wait for him and cheer him on. Bravo, Primorci! Extremely dedicated is Marko Tratnik. Yesterday he provided a masseuse to massage his tired muscles, today accompanies him, organizes food.... Thanks, Marko!

Given the situation today they continue reliably on plan B to Abram, maybe to Nanos. Sadly SPP goes through area where fire is destroying nature and the trail is closed. In extreme case tomorrow they'll continue on the road.

Klemen just arrived at Vojsko as they wanted with escorts, otherwise plan B but still only 3 hours delay from plan A. Given the proximity of the last checkpoint we still expect him at the goal on Sunday.

According to the latest data, Klemen has arrived at Ermanovec. Despite a torn thigh muscle, which they bandaged, he continues towards the goal. Today he'll try to run to Vojsko.

After yesterday's drop in morale and dilemma whether to continue or quit due to bloody blisters, today Klemen woke up completely renewed. Quitting didn't even cross his mind.

From the Koča pri Triglavskih jezer to the Krnsko jezero Špela Zupan accompanied him. At Koča pod Bogatinom Nejc Kuhar joined them, who ran with him over Krn to Vogel. From there onwards along the southern Bohinj mountains Martin Štendler took over.

He has a really long way behind him and due to magnesium deficiency cramps started appearing in his thigh muscle.
Otherwise he's running according to plan, despite cramps and badly blistered feet.

We were just talking with Uroš, who together with other mountain running enthusiasts and Klemen's friends is waiting for him at Petrovo Brdo, where he'll get a massage and rest. During our conversation Klemen has already arrived.

Today Franci Teraž, legend of mountain running, accompanied Klemen. In the morning they set off together from Kriški podi, over Razor, Prisanka to Vršič. Then ascent to the most beautiful mountain in the Julians – Jalovec and descent to Koča pod Špičkom and further to Koča pri izviru Soče. There journalists from POP TV awaited him, where they filmed a report. Probably all readers wonder when the contribution will be on TV: tomorrow at 19:00 in the 24ur news show.

We already mentioned that Klemen has blisters, but is motivated to the end to complete the thing. With professional help from a podiatrist they "fixed" his feet and prepared him for the path to Prehodavci and Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih, where he was accompanied by Špela Zupan, winner of Marathon 4 municipalities. There he will overnight today.
Tomorrow is the last 2k, Krn.

From Triglav Lakes to Krn, Koča na planini Razor and to Vogla summit Nejc Kuhar will accompany him. Then Martin Štendler, also excellent mountain runner (was 2nd in Marathon 4 municipalities), will join him for the ridge of southern Bohinj mountains. All tough guys! Tomorrow overnight planned at Petrovo Brdo.

According to latest data Klemen is attacking Bovški gamsovec. Mirko and Janez accompanied him over Triglav to Luknja, where they waved goodbye. By 8 pm they expect him at the hut on Kriški podi.

Has anyone been to Stol these days? What's the path from prižnica onwards?

I said I wouldn't bother with couch potatoes' comments. Who have no idea where the Slovenian mountain trail even goes. Oh, he says that to us.... Pure-blooded Slovene.
I followed Uroš on the trail and I know he HIKED the whole trail, actually in less than 14 days. Otherwise he did the trail in 14 days for himself. He would only cheat himself. But he has a completely clear conscience.
Unlike some negative types whose only exercise is typing and surfing the internet, maybe getting to the fridge.

Uroš continues today from Razor planina over Rodica, Črna prst, Porezen to Cerkno. He has so much energy that it'll be hard to stop him even in Ankaran.
Yesterday he conquered the last 2k on the trail. Now the heat begins, although today it blew strongly over Vogel, but only fog shone.

Uroš was today at 6:15 on top of Triglav. With Janez (Udovč) they then headed through Plemenice to Luknja and over Gamsovec to Kriške pode, from there to Razor and through the last window to Prisank.
Even if it's already the seventh day on the trail, he still has full energy and good spirits. Fingers crossed that tomorrow there won't be too much rain when he's around Jalovec.
Also his explanation about the marked (timed) path from Turska gora to Skuta: there was a mistake in sending the message. He walked the path in 45 minutes, officially marked 2.5 hours, exactly that much (45 minutes) he needed from Skuta to Zoisova koča (officially marked 3 hours). Apologizes to all affected :lol: .
