I'm looking for a replacement leash.

It's an older CAMP leash that fits the Woodpecker ice axe (probably some other Camp model too).

The ice axe model is quite old, so no spare parts from CAMP or distributors anymore.

I hope someone turns up who still has this ice axe model somewhere.

Look at the pics in Brana's thread; definitely not for low shoes. In my opinion, in the mountains it's never suitable for low shoes anyway.

Next week we'd go to Slemenovo špico from Vršiča. Since it's a group of retirees and grandkids, I don't want to upset them
No one has ever been a mountaineer and I assume they aren't up for snow.
What are the conditions, i.e. how much snow is on the path. Some photo from Mojstrovke downwards welcome

The church is 100% St. Florian's, locally in Semprimoz. I've been there at least 100 times. True though, it's a minute off the path to Menina and easy to miss.
I can confirm that with the new hut keepers on Menina nothing has changed at all
Gypsy goulash that'll knock you down! Dough mice, apple pie and I don't know what else was available when I was up there recently.
I have nothing to do with the keepers but still say: "Come on folks". Really nice pasture and amazing views. No wonder they wanted to build a radar up there ... and thank God they didn't. Unlike Velika Planina you can hike half a day and barely meet anyone.

Surely someone wanted to go to Debela peč these days. What are the conditions like? A photo would be welcome.

Yesterday it dumped about 25 cm in Gornji Grad, up there at least 30 new.

Meeting point: Bus station Gornji Grad
Mandatory equipment:
• headlamp,
• suitable winter-mountaineering footwear and clothing (gaiters, hat, gloves, slippers for hut … )
For securing beds pre-registration needed by Thursday 7.2. evening tel.: 041 464 035 (Andraž Krznar)

Otherwise Dom on Menina open every weekend regardless of weather. Duty by PD Gornji Grad members.
Open also during winter holidays.
Warm stove and tea guaranteed, something to eat (if not runs out ) too.

Better choose some Menina, Blegoš, Ratitovec,... and similar, so won't need anything else than crampons.

I'm wondering if it's possible to leave the car also at Planina Planinca, or higher than Dom v Dragi. How long is it on foot from Dom v Dragi to Planinca?
