It's not always necessary to climb right to some peak to admire and feel all that energy the mountains and their vast spaces give you; I convinced myself of this again on Thursday, on the beautiful ascent from Rinka Waterfall to Okrešelj and to Savinja Saddle and continuing to Jezersko Saddle; views to "shout about" wherever the eye reaches and due to great weather it reaches very far, peaks full of hikers or climbers who each enjoy their own "range of adrenaline capabilities"; "joker" fully cashed in, so pictures for "delight"; lp

Wednesday -10.8. – nice days really invite to the mountains; this time to planina Podvežak, towards Korošica to Sedelce, then to Little Ostrica to the "miniature Aljaž tower"; nice path, especially Korošica, the summit of Little Ostrica also quite "oyster-like" and airy for me; clouds raced across the sky, but this time at least not laden with "wetness" like on Saturday, hikers aplenty; helicopters flew over Veliki vrh area, but fortunately no later trace of any emergency intervention; and pics of conditions; lp

Silvo, is it possible to return from Kompotela to Vrh Korena without fully descending to Planina Koren? Thanks.

A little for refreshing this path; 25.1.2020..did a nice circular path starting in Podčetrtek, then to Mala Rudnica with shelter Šmarnica, from where nice view over the valley towards Boč and Donačka; continuation in the last part quite steep and muddy-slippery slope to Silavec with new 35-m high and slightly swaying tower of health and joy; then to Velika Rudnica with highest peak Plešivec, descent past the hunting hut to Olimsko jezerce and down to valley in Olimje.... wonderful circular path, everything nicely marked

12.10.2019...Saturday ramble on Menina pasture from Biba pasture to mountain hut; really wonderful path, suitable for small children, as seen by number of young enthusiasts; cows of course no more on pasture, still ponies, numerous ponds along path and especially beautiful views towards KSA

Velika Raduha - 27.7. yesterday's wonderful ascent from Snežna jama over planina Arta to the summit of that broad beauty; road just being fixed and nicely drivable...

Saturday, 29.9. - Veliko Kozje; start in Okroglice village and ascent via Sv. Lovrenc along the ridge path to the summit; it was very windy, we met only two hikers; path nicely marked, although we got a bit confused from the farm above Sv. Lovrenc because we didn't notice the mark in time; at the summit the inscription on the trunk "finish" confused us a bit, which wasn't quite clear to us; luckily we "curiously" continued further to the viewpoint and the box; wonderful path, beautiful views and in the last part a bit of stretching for the legs;

Wow, nice long loop you've completed, Majda; beautiful ascent from Zelenica remains in my memory, but sadly everything in fog at the top; cheers

8.7.2018 - Poor weather forecast for Gorenjska directed us to Primorska side, to Nanos; quite a few of us "trudged" up the steep-climbing one, quite a few also from Abram and the "snail"; this time too no escape from wind, north wasn't friendly at all; on circular return together with numerous hikers we enthusiastically admired the flowered plateau with numerous alpine flowers, among which stood out a real sea of edelweiss..

They really are fairy-tale St. Višarje, with the unique, still unfaded in memory Stone Hunter;

28-1-2018 Blegoš; wonderful ascent in sunny winter calm (which is rarer), offered beautiful far views to numerous hikers at the top. Approach from Črni Kal direction, road drivable all the way to parking lot

@..sasgittariusvz... my usual approach is from Podmeje, only once I came from your direction - specifically from Zabukovica, but missed the path a bit, still reached the goal; worth trying, very nice panoramic peak.... also this Saturday, 20.1...; lp
