For all planning to go to KSA in the coming days:

On 6.11.2015 I chose the tour Rinka-Okrešelj-Savinjsko sedlo -Križ and back via Turski žleb.

The path in the first part, including the climbing part up to the notch (where the view opens towards Jezerski and Ledina) is completely dry, while further on the north and west side of Križ larger snow fields with very frozen snow begin.....so winter gear (crampons) or at least ice axe is mandatory for that part. In between you also have to go on rock with crampons, since snow isn't everywhere.

On the descent side via Turski žleb it's completely dry (including Turski žleb).

So it's still worth using the last days before winter for ascent to Križ from Savinjsko sedlo direction.

Hi... I'm interested in snow conditions on the path from the lower station of the cargo cable car to the top.... and of course if the road is still normally drivable..... thanks and best regards

BIBAS: I'm interested whether you went to Koroška Rinka via climbing path (from area of Savinjsko sedlo)? If yes, interested in north, unshaded sections? Was it icy or snowy?
