He had shoes... in his backpack, but apparently they are worse than nothing for the mountains... so nothing then... I have to admit, it's a very innovative idea how to spice up the ascent to Viševnik. In the "beginning of autumn" even Viševnik becomes a "Mountain"... I have to add - he was very careful. Otherwise, the path to Viševnik is muddy and only here and there can you clean your shoes a bit in the snow. On the way to the Srenjski pass snow only on the west side of Viševnik. And that snowfield is deeply "pockmarked" and can be crossed without problems. The "cabled" path under MDV dry almost to the end of the cables. Only the last part of the cables was still under snow today - further snowy but now there is a track. Snow soft and sinks deeply. Today some small "slides" were still released, tomorrow probably no more. Further to Veliki Draški on the east side path practically dry, descent on the SW ridge annoying - snow on rocks. Good there's scree lower - every thing comes in handy once. Below Srenjski pass nice snowy "spring" idyll. Above Konjščica all dry but at least not muddy. In short, contrasts...
