This applies to very well-known terrain in the lowlands. In the mountains I wouldn't do that.
Pleasure is sleeping in nature, only if there are no mosquitoes. If you choose a more elevated spot for overnighting, where it's also a bit more airy, you can sleep without "puffy eyes" in the morning.
