Is this circular now in winter somewhat trodden?

Does anyone have/had problems with the seam on the back of the shoe. That seam rubs and irritates the back of the foot so much that it's impossible to walk more than 2 hours....sensitive feet?

Problems also in the front, toes hurt like crazy downhill..I'm sure there's at least 2cm space in front, maybe only the big toe presses a bit on the edge when the shoe tightens.

What do you think about Planika Jalovec or Brana? Is it a comfortable boot or more low range? I'm looking for something for my wide sole, Alpina is not good, the others I haven't looked at, they recommended Planika.

Is Jalovec a very high boot? I had in mind buying lows but for some ultra tours it's probably better to have ankle protection.

Currently I have a situation where I need to replace boots. Since I want to do some easier winter tour (with guide) I'd like something I can wear in summer too.

I looked at Planika Jalovec model - fairly stiff boot and sole, no auto crampons issue, if not high enough can still solve with gaiters..

Would that work? I wouldn't buy winter ones, since I won't hike much? I have other gear from relative.

Ideas like Viševnik, Kamniško sedlo, Vrh Korena, maybe Begunjščica...
