redbull, above someone asked for conditions and I wrote as it is. I forgot the helmet at home, not on purpose. If I had assessed it as too dangerous, I would have turned back and gone another time.

I went yesterday from shelter without gear (helmet, crampons, ice axe). Up and down it went ok. On the path is 20m snowfield that needs to be crossed. Footprints in snowfield are imo deep enough that you don't need gear but some turned back.

What are the conditions like from Cojz's hut to Kal ridge?

I'm asking again about the condition on Kugy's shelf.
Has anyone gone across the shelf recently? What's the condition of the path, do the cables still exist? What's the difficulty if there's no cable? Which side is better to cross from the western Triglav plateau or via the cirques? Is there still snow there? Does anyone perhaps have a recent photo of the shelf?

I'm wondering if anyone went recently across Kugy's ledge. Curious about the path condition, (last comment on hribi 2013.. cable snapped). What's the difficulty without cable. Better to cross from west or east side? Still snow there? Anyone have a recent pic of that ledge?

Greedy highlanders and lofty urban bigwigs. Sooner or later there'll be paid parking. Then instead of mountains I'll go to Croatia to the sea. There they don't measure distance from roads with a meter, just come and spend. Our war profiteers smelled money because going to mountains became popular. Road is there, no need to dig new, maintained from public funds but you'd still charge. Haven't seen traffic accidents there. Who do parked cars on traditional spots bother? Sticky Gorenjskan fingers. I hope parking fees on Gorenjska parking plates are introduced as soon as possible. Instead of stopping at Gorenjska tavern, out of principle I won't now. There'll be some tavern closer to home. Won't give a cent to highlanders.

Could someone tell me which more famous paths can be compared in difficulty to the Slovenian path on Mangart? And is the use of a helmet and via ferrata set mandatory?

I meant which of these two paths marked on [the] Pešpoti map as 1 and 2 is easier esp. red parts. [The] difficulty of [the] easier part of path 1 or 2 and continuation to Grintovec i.e. part 3. To "Dolce" fork I'd go on red-marked path or from Ovnov Čer fork [which] you reach from Kokrsko Sedlo.

What's the difficulty of the path from Dolcev to Dolske Škrbine? Is it easier to go to Grintovec via Kočen or directly to Škrbina? Especially [I'm interested in the] technical difficulty compared to Triglav ascent from Kredarica – easier, harder, same. Interested in exposure, crumbly rock, any cables on the path...

Has anyone gone to Triglav from Kot valley past Pekel and Rž, what are the conditions on the path, still any snowfields?

By the way, I don't know if this is a topic for here. I'm heading to Triglav and wondering where "end of road at Pokljuka" is. From the description I can't figure out how to get to the starting point (description after barracks... From there continue straight on gravel road which a bit further brings us to junction where continue right (left Uskovnica). Follow this road to parking at end of road (nearby mountain signs for Planina Konjščica)). When I looked at Google Maps there are huge turnoffs right and straight and no real left turnoff. When I googled the road I found that parking since 2018 supposedly paid (at hotel). Would ask if someone makes screenshot from Google Maps and marks parking or explains differently which right turnoff is correct.
