Otherwise nice ascent. But I don't understand why do such exposed ascents in such bad weather, especially if (as the predecessor pointed out) you don't know how to belay, set belays, etc? Things can go wrong fast in mountains (Red Bull can confirm), so it's good to know basic maneuvers and stick to them consistently.

North faces will all wait until summer....and also for the next winter season, when they'll be covered in proper snow, not rot. Spring is here and south faces offer huge possibilities for new challenges.

Of course, everyday life accidents will always happen. But in those cases two rescuers exposed. Mountains and adrenaline sports, there huge team rescues you. And in these times when every casualty potential infected, you consciously risk exposing many people critically needed now.

If you're already clown (like various Redbulls and Francies etc) to go around these times, be at least smart enough not to post it. And shut up defending high mountain hikes now, esp some Redbull most rescued in Slovenia, he could really hold comments!

felix, actually it's the government's recommendation not to go anywhere if not necessary. and if that's not respected, quarantine will be introduced and even dog walking won't be a justifiable reason to leave the house, let alone various hill exploits!

Announcements are on all GRZS social networks, on the GRS Kamnik page, on TV, FB, etc., etc. You just need to follow a bit what is happening around you.

But again people (especially those who have been rescued multiple times) nicely ignore and rush to the mountains, although conditions are currently quite dangerous. Just yesterday they rescued an alpinist at Vikijeva sveča.

Then another group - yes, group - rushed to Triglav today. That is, although we should not gather, they did exactly that + unnecessarily exposed themselves.

I don't know, don't you realize that besides doctors currently civil protection, firefighters, GRS, etc. etc. are on standby, and if one exposes to the disease, the whole unit must go into quarantine. These people will be very needed in the coming weeks! Not to mention unnecessarily burdening health workers.

yeah, cycling is basically banned in TNP. mostly they throw out the reason that cyclists destroy nature. as far as I'm concerned the main reason is that hikers and cyclists hardly coexist on same trails. but in TNP canyoning is banned too, takeoffs and landings with paragliders, and more I could list. TNP claims canyoning destroys nature. hunters claim chamois jump into abysses because of paragliders. but really behind it are some old guys pushing long outdated policy. in TNP allowed are activities present there for centuries, like hiking, alpinism, hunters etc, while sports developed in last decades are banned. even though canyoning pollutes mountains same as alpinism. cycling same (or less) as hordes of hikers. no chamois jumps into abyss because of paragliders, they are one of cleanest sports, especially compared to panoramic flights from Lesce to Triglav and back when propellers buzz all summer, but that's ok?!?!! hunters allowed to shoot what's prescribed for cull, rolling rocks down slopes scaring animals so they come under their rifles etc... but no, old farts deciding in TNP say hunters ok, paragliders banned. even Czech tourists bivouacking in groups for days at bivouacs, pitching tents in TNP, camping at Vršič etc, nobody does anything. but they chase the one who bivouacked on mountain top mid winter and send him fine home. high time TNP steps into 21st century!
