Hello. I'm interested in how you care for your down jackets, how often you wash them, storage. I quickly ruined one, and it wasn't cheap. After washing the down didn't redistribute at all to original shape. A cheaper one endured many washes without issue, though now after years it's not in the same state anymore, it's thinned quite a bit. But much more satisfied with it. Is it better to really wash down jackets completely separately, without other clothes, with tennis balls? And drying, so that down redistributes nicely? I always shook the down jacket multiple times after washing, during drying, so down would go back to original shape. Seems it was better in the dryer than outside. Stored folded or on hanger. Bought a new one, really don't want to ruin this one, so interested in your experiences, what am I doing wrong. Already thinking of switching only to synthetic. Thanks.

Today I ran into this creature. Did some research, maybe some land crab, or what could it be? Probably not a shrew? First time seeing this little thing and I think I'll whizz past every time I pass by. Location

Does anyone know what kind of beetle this is? It was quite big, I helped it today during a walk, it seemed to have been flipped on its back on the forest (gravel) road for a while and I took it to a better place.

Does anyone have experience with Deuter AC Lite line where the zipper is placed in front along the entire backpack length? How does it perform, somewhere I read that you need to be more careful when opening the zipper. Choosing between these two backpacks as a gift:

Velkavrh great tour, views divine. Those "baskets" are for disc golf. You throw frisbee into baskets, by certain rules. On Areh on Pohorje this thing is quite popular, also new mini golf at Ruška koča. Maybe on Krvavec they'll use this novelty with enthusiasm too. Just being in nature, whatever you do, is the greatest luxury. Thanks for the report.

On the Bajgot - Veliki Šumik path, the cable is quite loose in certain places, so extra caution is needed! The path along Lobnica to the waterfalls is still CLOSED.
