Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th. Conditions for the ascent excellent, shame no footprint in the snow, which would spice the tour a bit. The path logical, well visible and in nice weather you can't miss it. Exposed in places and not for vertigo sufferers. Technical part right above the hut excellently secured with cable, on the rest few protections only where necessary. From lake to hut less than two hours, from hut to summit good two hours. Quite some visitors, rule of thumb about 100 summiteers on a nice day.
Hut needs prior reservation as it's full in good weather. Food good, organization by girls running the hut spot on.
Return ticket for bus-cableway-bus from valley garage house to upper Mooserboden lake bought on the spot, buses and cableway run continuously per schedule.
In short, great tour, recommend. Our team enjoyed.

For winter ascent to Ratitovec via marked paths you rarely need real 12-point crampons. That happens maybe a few times a year during heavy verglas, not every year. But microspikes and poles come in handy. The path is very popular and accordingly trampled - smoothed out. Usual winter ascent goes via Razor, because path via Poden is more avalanche exposed, and above treeline slide risk on slope is greater anyway. Via Razor practically none. Below in forest there's section crossed by avalanche, but usually soon after snowfall or spring when warms and snow slides right "to bedrock". It's marked. Currently no serious danger there.
At moment fog on top, but should clear up ;-)

Today early morning Grebenska. No winter gear needed anymore. Only snow contact down on scree (cca. 5m) crossing little bridge. Can go around too. Careful, bridge won't last long. Secondly above window (at hole), summer path turns left. No choice but slab and under bridgelet. Same as below. Rest bare, dry now, no mud anywhere.
Today pleasantly fresh, summit part from ca. 7h in light mist. Few visitors, but Vršič already Babylon...
