We hikers can be grateful that there are still so many volunteers at the huts who do their best each in their own way to create the real mountain atmosphere for us (emphasize volunteers). Some, still employed, even use their vacation to help.
My hiking friends and I admire them and appreciate their effort.

Darinka, wonderful. Unique photos. Peak above Škrbina is one of the most beautiful peaks around here for me. I can hardly wait for a nice weekend to climb up to it.
One question, was it very frozen towards the top? From the pictures it didn't look like it.

One more question. Planning three days in Kam. Sav. Alps, have another tour in mind:
Ravenska Kočna - Češka koča - Žrelo - Kranjska koča na Ledinah - Ledinski vrh - Velika baba - Mala baba - Jenkova planina - Ravenska Kočna. Is this variant possible? And what's the ridge between Velika and Mala baba like. Read somewhere it's very dangerous and crumbly? Regards M.

I know absolutely nothing about Kamnik-Savinja Alps. This year I plan to fix that. I'm interested if the tour: Cojzova koča - Dovški prelaz - Bivak v Kočni - Kokrska Kočna - Jezerska Kočna - Dolška Škrbina - Grintovec - Streha - Cojzova koča is feasible and has no overly difficult sections. I think Ločanka did this tour last year. How much time approx for a normally fit hiker?

I'm interested how long it took you from the top of Škrlatica to Pogačnikov dom?

We would also go to Jalovec in the same direction as you. I'm interested if protection is needed, as I hear different explanations. And is it really so exposed and poorly protected over Goličica?

There are stamps at Vogel and Rodica. You just need an inked pad.

We two were at Vogel on Sunday, 31. 3. 2019. We needed crampons and ice axe, as it was pretty frozen in the morning. Then it warmed up and snow softened. Still quite a bit of snow though. Probably snowing again today.
