What an unusual view of Kanin. Beginning of February and almost bare

Rakitna is beautiful right now! Lake frozen, snow. Runners have also pulled a track themselves, for cross-country skiing. Finally the municipality has started charging parking (with that money they can liven up the offer and arrange recreational trails) - wardens apparently rarely come, but it seems only fair to me that everyone pays that euro.

Reminds me of Okno.. But I think that's not it.

Hee, finally find some splitboarders! I've been riding Jones and Voile bindings for some time and it's really completely different than carrying on back.
Have very good experience walking in ski boots (though mine quite light) and no blisters, on tours up to 3-4h up

True that splitboard purchase quite expensive.. esp if use occasionally. If someone like that, maybe recommend rent it. I know you can rent it here: www.outdoorstation.si

Now hope some Slovenian hill gets snow (funny this winter)...
