Dear Mr. Primož, again: nowhere do I write that we agree with the prices in huts, because that's not the topic of the conversation. I understand that you are sad and bitter because the prices in huts are not as you wish. Our municipality has one hut and I deal with it, for the others in Slovenia each municipality has its own TIC or some association to direct your criticisms and smart suggestions to. Here you'll solve little. Regarding your so-called compliments in this sentence "and a bit less staring at the local offer wouldn't hurt either.", I tell you the following: you yourself joined a debate that doesn't concern you personally, and you want to vent all your anger on an institution that commented on matters that directly concern it. You write about prices in huts on the Primorska. Primorska is big. We are the Municipality of Miren-Kostanjevica, I repeat, we have only 1 hut and, yes, we are not just staring at our offer, we are proud of it. Come visit us sometime, before you come, I recommend you inquire what the prices are at the hut on Trstelj, so you won't feel again that you have the right to insult all Primorska people by saying we pretend to be French. Here I conclude, exceptionally I responded because I don't tolerate intolerance, generalizations and rudeness. Dear all, as promised regarding the incident that happened in Stjenk's hut on Trstelj to the lady registered on this forum as Lunca, I report the following: I spoke with the caretaker, Mr. Boštjan Božič, who said that everything the lady said is true. He said that postcards are now given away. The caretaker of the mentioned hut Boštjan Božič sincerely apologizes to the lady for the unpleasant incident. Best regards to all. I refer to this post: "16.4.2013 Lunca Another of my experiences... from the hut on Trstelj. I came to the keeper and wanted to buy a postcard and asked for the stamp. And he gives me the postcard, charges one and a half euros. And I give him one and a half euros and wait for the receipt. The keeper looks at me and says the stamp is outside. When I say I also want a receipt, he turns to the cash register, fiddles for a while, then turns back to me and says he can't give me a receipt for the postcard because he doesn't have it in the cash register, he can only charge me a drink worth one and a half euros. When I asked him how he can sell it at all then, he replied that if I don't want it, I can give it back, that he got them FREE from the tourist center and that's why he can't have them in the cash register! It's not about the one and a half euros, but about the principle itself. Rudeness without parallel. I was thinking whether to post the incident at all, because there will immediately be at least five who will now beat on me that I'm complicating, I'm petty and I don't know what else, but in all this I just wanted to say that people who cheat hikers like that really don't belong anywhere and maybe at least someone in that hut will be more careful..." Dear all, especially the lady who was wronged and subjected to behavior she described as "rudeness without precedent". I am writing from the Temnica Tourist Information Center, Municipality of Miren-Kostanjevica, as it is in our interest to have a good reputation and promote good work, especially with people. We regularly monitor customer satisfaction through surveys and on the ground or with those who visit our info center. Believe me, we have not received any complaints or criticism about the hut in question so far. That's why I'm posting, as the behavior of the caretaker described by the lady greatly surprises me. In any case, we ask you to accept our apology on behalf of our organization, which among other things takes care to monitor the atmosphere and feelings of guests, visitors etc. Everyone is valuable and welcome and deserves respectful treatment, of course they must show it themselves too. I'm also posting to assure you that I will talk to the caretaker of the mentioned hut and resolve the matter if it turns out to be as the lady says, of course.
