The waterfall is located 5 km northeast from the center of Grahovše and 6 km northeast from the center of Hrib. The nearest peak is Bukov hrib, which is located 0.6km vzhodnoThe nearest mountain hut is Koča Pr Zdravc, located 3km south. A little further is bivouac Lovska koča Stanič. East-southeast of the waterfall is the valley Makekova kočna.
