Big cascades is a waterfall at an altitude of 527 meters in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The waterfall is located 1.2 km west-northwest of peak Turčić. The nearest peak is Turčić, which is located 1.2km vzhodno-jugovzhodno. The monument Milka Ternina is also located near the mountain hut. South of the waterfall there is lake Gavanovac.
