Žitnik is 693 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.4 km southwest from the center of Straža and 1.7 km east from the center of Šebrelje. The nearest mountain hut is Planinska koča MRZL'K, located 9km east-southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Lovska koča LD Otavnik, which is located 8km to the north-northeast. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Baška grapa.
