Vrh hriba is 712 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.3 km east from the center of Palčje and 2 km northwest from the center of Juršče. The nearest mountain hut is Mašun, located 9km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Lovska koča Trešnja ravan, which is located 7km to the north. 2 km northwest of the peak there is lake Palško jezero. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Mrzla dolina.
