Visoka glava is 1812 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 1.4 km east-southeast of peak Mala Tičarica and south above the mountain pasture Planina Ščavje. The nearest mountain hut is Bregarjevo zavetišče, located 1.6km southeast. A little closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča (Dedno polje), which is located 0.7km to the east.
