Description:
Turen is 1469 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 1.2 km southwest of peak Plešivec / Pleschiwetz and west-severowest above the mountain pasture Planina Brsnina. The nearest mountain hut is Planina Dolga njiva, located 1.5km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Lovska koča Stanič. The peak is located northwest of the valley Makekova kočna.
