Škorten is 755 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.1 km northeast from the center of Rogati Hrib and 2 km south from the center of Črni Potok. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Jelenovem studencu, located 7km northwest. hunting cottage Logarnica. Lovska koča is a bit further away. Northwest of the summit is the valley Ribniška dolina.
