Sivčnik is 643 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 0.9 km south-southwest from the center of Poljane and 1.4 km north-northwest from the center of Šentjanž. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Treh plotih, located 4km north. A bit closer is Ston, which is located 2km to the north. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Robanov kot.
