Description:
Schwellenspitze is 2494 meter high peak and is part of the Allgäu Alps. The peak is located 3 km east-southeast from the center of Hinterhornbach and 4 km west-southwest from the center of Martinau and 0.8 km northeast of peak Wasserfallkarspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kaufbeurer Haus, located 3km west-southwest. A bit closer is Schwabenhütte, which is located 2km to the south. The peak is located in the valley Lechtal.
