Rote Rinne is 2928 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 2 km east from the center of Kurzras - Maso Corto and 4 km west-northwest from the center of Vernagt - Vernago. The nearest mountain hut is Schöne Aussicht Hütte - Rifugio Bella Vista, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Schäferhütte. 2 km north from the summit there is glacier Hochjochferner - Ghiacciaio Giogo Alto, 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hochjochferner.
