Punta Silvia is 2982 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The peak is located 0.9 km southeast of peak Cima Busazza. The nearest mountain hut is Capanna Presena, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Passo Lago Scuro (Museo). 1.2 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Vedretta Cercen, 3 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Vedretta di Nardis.
