Plattingrat is 2498 meter high peak in the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 4 km south from the center of Klösterle and 5 km south-southwest from the center of Langen am Arlberg. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Reutlinger Hütte, located 3km southeast. Closer is Obere Wasserstubenalpe, which is located 2km to the west. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Klostertal.
