Description:
Planica is 926 meter high peak located in the Kamnik Savinja Alps mountain range. The peak is located 0.3 km west-southwest from the center of Gozd and 1.0 km east from the center of Spodnje Vetrno. The nearest mountain hut is Zavetišče v Gozdu, located 0.3km west-northwest. hunting cottage Lovska koča LD Tržič is also relatively close. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Makekova kočna.
