Description:
Penegal is 1737 meter high peak and is part of the Nonsberg Group. The peak is located 3 km north-northwest from the center of St. Nikolaus - San Nicolò and 4 km northwest from the center of Kaltern an der Weinstraße - Caldaro sulla Strada del Vino. The nearest mountain hut is Malga di Fondo, located 6km north-northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Hundskoflhütte, which is located 2km to the south. The peak is located in the valley Valle dell'Adige - Etschtal.
