Osredek is 514 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.8 km west-southwest from the center of Apnenik pri Boštanju and 2.0 km northwest from the center of Vrh pri Boštanju. The nearest mountain hut is Jurkova koča na Lisci, located 7km north-northeast. A little further is hunting cottage lovska koča.
