Monte Valcalda

Description:
Monte Valcalda is 1908 meter high peak with a cross located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 6 km northeast from the center of Tramonti di Sopra and 6 km south from the center of Socchieve. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Malga Grasia, located 5km west-northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Casera Sopareit, which is located 0.8km to the west. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Canal di Cuna.
