Monte Tonale Orientale is 2696 meter high peak in the Ortler Alps. The peak is located 8 km west from the center of Vermiglio and 9 km southwest from the center of Peio Fonti. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Malga Valbiolo, located 1.3km west-southwest. And bivouac Bivacco Malga Paludei is also close by. South of the summit is the valley Val Vermigliana.
