Monte Pietena

Description:
Monte Pietena is 2194 meter high peak located in the Dolomites mountain range. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Salzen and 6 km northwest from the center of Lasen and 2 km east of peak Monte Pavione and east-northeast above the mountain pasture Malga Vette Piccole. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Giorgio Dal Piaz, located 1.6km south-southwest. Even closer is bivouac Malga Vette Grandi, which is located 1.0km to the west-southwest. West of the summit is the valley Val Cesilla.
