Monte Pero is 1187 meter high peak. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast from the center of Albareto and 7 km south from the center of Borgo Val di Taro. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio del Faggio Crociato, located 4km south. A little further is bivouac Casa della forestale.
