Description:
Monte Montanel is 2461 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak is located 2 km west-northwest of peak Cridola (Cima est). The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Cercenà, located 3km west. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Da Deppo Montanel, which is located 0.9km to the west-southwest. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Val Meluzzo.
